No one has done more to promote NATO in Ukraine than Russia And if you think I’m kidding look at the statistics here October 20 13 before the invasion of Crimea and Donbas Ukrainians against NATO it’s 66 percent Ukrainians for NATO 20 percent After the Russian occupation of Crimea and Donbas in 20 14 25 percent were against and 51 were against in support of Ukraine in NATO And then by August 20 21 that’s still about 6 months out before the actual 7 months out before the actual invasion it was only 35 against and 54 percent for But after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in January of Only 3 percent of the country were against joining NATO 86 percent were in favor of it Yep Russia’s been the greatest salesman for NATO And you can ask Finland and Sweden about that because they went down the same kind of path that has ever existed Soltenberg No one not even Jen Soltenberg could No one has been a more effective advocate for NATO than Russia No one has been a greater salesman of NATO than Russian’s actions No one has been a greater salesman for NATO than President Putin Okay that’s all that I have to say
