They just passed over eight thousand tanks Russian tanks off the battlefield What does that mean exactly Well a Russian tank battalion I started to nerd out on this and just go down a rabbit hole A Russian tank battalion typically consists of about 40 main battle tanks according to Current Affairs magazine The diplomat Each of the Russian tank regiments has around 93 tanks in 3 battalions Now I realize there are different type of tanks and that sort of thing But essentially 40 tanks you’re looking at about two hundred tank battalions wiped out now it’s not exactly the same because there’s different types i get it so don’t put that in the comments I understand I’m just trying to ballpark or the equivalent of 86 tank regiments Right Tank regiment a tank regiment has 93 tanks in it 86 tank regiments
